I didn’t sit down to make a record. I just started writing one day and it kept going. Turns out I had more to say than I realized.
These songs came together over a single winter. Not all at once, and not with a plan. Just piece by piece, as things came back. Places, moments, people, conversations I hadn’t thought about in years.
Some of them started as a few lines. Some as stories I’d told before. And somewhere along the way, I found a way to bring them to life. Shaping them, working them, letting them turn into songs.
It’s kind of a moment in time. A look back at where I’ve been, and maybe a little of where things are headed.
I don’t really know what this turns into yet. I just know these songs are personal. And they all seem to follow the same road.
